Congrats on getting a publisher, guys! :) I can't wait to see the new book...
I like the gear and the colors, but personally, I think the font is kind of stock.
How about adding a second small gear on the cover (since it's a two book), and putting the title on the spine?
If Image won't go for that, what about making the title look as if it was cast into the gear, following its arc?

Yah, honestly I don't dig the cover. It doesn't represent all the talent or the content of the book at all.
